The Connect RV 65 Cell Phone Signal Booster’s powerful amplifier uses the outside Yagi Directional Antenna to pick up the cell signal form the nearest cell tower and delivers the cell signals to the booster. How To Install the weBoost Connect RV 65 Cell Phone Signal Booster?
The weBoost Connect RV 65 Signal Booster is extremely easy to install. Require no professional installer and can be done in minutes. This kit includes all the components required for DIY installation. Please take a look at the installation videos for more details or Contact Us.
1. Mount the Outside Yagi Directional Antenna to the Telescoping Pole (Using the included hardware). Run the coax through the L-Bracket and mount using the screws and lock washers. Note: Do not over tighten. Then connect coax cable to outside antenna after mounting to telescoping pole.
2. Mount Telescoping Pole to the side of RV and extend the pole to the maximum height. Use wall mount plates and ground to secure the pole. It is recommended to mount near slider or toy hauler ramp door on the side. Clean the surface of the RV where wall mounts will be placed then remove the adhesive backer and, making sure the pole is level at 90 degree angle. Firmly attach the wall mount to the RV near the top. The must be at least 4 inches of separation between the top and bottom mount for the best performance. Next attach the other wall mount to the bottom foot mount located on the pole and insert the attached pin.
3. Find a location to place the booster inside the RV and connect coax cable from the outside antenna to port on booster labeled ‘Outside Antenna’. It is recommended routing the coax cable through the slider gasket or through the back door of a toy hauler using the flat window coax cable provided. In a cabinet near a power source , be sure it’s in a location that 30” RG-6 Coax Cable can reach.
4. Mount the Inside Directional Panel Antenna using included 3M command strips and connect coax cable. Be sure to have adequate distance from outside antenna. Connect the coax cable to the inside antenna and to booster port labeled ‘Inside Antenna’.
