The SureCall Fusion5X 2.0 is a powerful signal booster system for large residences and mid-sized buildings. It boosts voice and data, including 4G LTE, on all U.S and Canadian cell networks. The Fusion5X 2.0 is the second generation of SureCall’s popular Fusion5x product line. The Fusion5X 2.0 offers increased downlink power, meaning that where outside signal strength is strong, the 2.0 is able to provide a larger coverage area. New “SureCall IQ” technology also means that the Fusion 5X 2.0 will not overpower or shut down in areas of strong existing outdoor signal.

The Fusion5X 2.0 also keeps all the benefits of the original Fusion5X and it gives boosted cellular coverage up to 20,000 sq. ft. The unit does not have attenuation knobs. Instead of requiring installers to adjust gain manually, sophisticated internal software automatically and continuously optimizes gain ensuring the Fusion5X 2.0 is always operating at peak performance. It comes with several antenna options to boost coverage for all size of indoor environments. The exterior antenna is a choice of either an Omni-directional antenna or a Yagi-Directional antenna. There is also a choice of numbers of interior antennas. The kit includes all the components required for the installation. The four interior antenna option means the installation can easily be configured to suit large or complex building layouts, ensuring optimum booster coverage.

The SureFusion5X 2.0 kit comes with a choice of two exterior antennas options- Omni-Directional Antenna or Yagi-Directional Antenna.

• Omni-Directional (exterior) Antenna: It is the best choice when outdoor cell signals is -85 dBm or stronger and signal quality is high. It catches signals from all direction(360 degree beam-width) and from all cell towers. It is recommended to use Omni-directional antenna if you have close to full bars of signal outside. It is not as powerful as a Yagi-directional antenna, therefore it is ideally used in places with existing good to strong cell phone signal strength. It is easy to install this exterior antenna and comes with mounting hardware.

• Yagi-Directional (exterior) Antenna: It is the best choice when outdoor cell signals is -86 dBm or weaker or the signal quality is lower. It catches signals from one specific direction (60 degree beam-width) where it is pointed to. It is recommended to use this antenna if you have close to 1-3 bars of signal outside. It picks up cellular signal from far away particular cell tower than the Omni-Directional antenna, therefore it is ideally used in places with existing weak cell phone signal strength. It is slightly more complicated to install, as you need to aim this antenna to cell tower.

Interior ANTENNA OPTIONS

 

The SureFusion5X 2.0 kit comes with a choice of three exterior antennas options. You can choose the number and type of antennas that fits your needs. Please note you can customize any of these kits. If you need two or three interior antennas, please contact us.

 

• Standard Dome Antenna: It is suggested when coverage needed inside the home or building is in a circular fashion as in an elliptical, round dome shaped or a square room. Therefore in a building omni-directional antenna are best suited for a central location. Unlike panel antennas, they broad cast cell signals in all directions equally. The dome antennas needs to be installed in the ceiling and not to the walls. They are best suited for a home or buildings where you have access to a loft or crawl space, office building with ceiling tiles.

• Panel Antenna: It have a narrower beamwidth, means they direct cell signal in one direction. It is suggested when coverage needed inside the home or building is across long rectangular spaces like a corridor or multi levels. For covering long rectangular spaces, panel antenna can be mounted on the wall facing the length such long narrow spaces. For covering multiple floors, the panel antenna can be mounted on the ceiling facing downwards so it boosts reception to the space on the floors below as well. If you are installing an antenna in the first floor of a 2-story home, a panel antenna is often the easiest option, as putting a dome antenna in the ceiling can be tricky. signals being able to penetrate walls depends on the strength of incoming signal to the booster and the construction materials of the wall.

• Ultra-Thin Dome Antenna: It is similar to standard dome antenna, except more aesthetically pleasing. This antenna sit almost flush against the ceiling. The performance is reduced by using an Ultra-Thin dome antenna, particularly at higher frequencies (eg. 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz). It is recommended to use this antenna if you have a strict aesthetic requirements.

 

Coverage Area Depending On The Outside Signal Strength:

• 10,000 sq. ft. with 1-2 bars (-105 to 115 dB)- Weak Outdoor signal.
• 18,000 sq. ft. with 3-4 bars (-85 to -95 dB)- Medium Outdoor signal.
• 25,000 sq. ft. with 5 bars (-40 to 70 dB)- Strong Outdoor signal.
